Joseph S. Paskorz

Joseph S. Paskorz, 76 of Russellton, West Deer Township died Wednesday March 30, 2022 at Concordia at Rebecca Residence, West Deer with his family by his side. He was born May 8, 1945 in Russellton, West Deer to the late Michael and Adele (Liput) Paskorz, where he has lived his entire life. Joe graduated from West Deer High School in 1964, where he excelled in football, baseball and basketball. Joe went on to Youngstown State, receiving his teaching degree, in 1968, in elementary education. He went to work for West Deer and then Deer Lakes School district teaching in Bairdford Elementary, JFK Elementary and then both schools in the present elementary school center. Joe was a former member of the Ridge Runners, Rural Ridge. He enjoyed farming, operating the Paskorz Berry Farm, selling all type of berries, vegetables and corn. He also enjoyed camping.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years Kathy A. (Mellon) Paskorz, his daughters Kimberly (Carey Shaffer) Paskorz of West Deer and Kathy Jo (Roman Barker) of Natrona Heights, his grandchildren Gavin and Gracie Paskorz and his brother Michael (Connie) Paskorz of West Deer.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Helen Snyder.
