Kenneth J. Balog, 75 of Frazer Township, died Saturday December 6, 2025 at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born September 6, 1950 in Natrona Heights to the late Joseph and Alberta F. (Demharter) Belog. Ken grew up in the Tarentum area where he got the nickname of “Begs”. He graduated in the final graduating class of Tarentum High School in 1968. Following high school, he enrolled and achieved his Associates Degree in Electronics from Pennsylvania Technical Institute. He worked for many years for PPG Industries, Allison Park as a Chemical Coordinator. He also was the managing supervisor for Goodwill Industries helping the Special Needs Employee find jobs. Finally, he worked at Pandalai Coating as a foreman/manager. Ken was a stereo buff, loved fishing especially with his wife and friends, traveling with his friends yearly to Atlantic City for their spiritual retreat, traveling with his wife to Alaska and Florida, was an avid Steeler Fan, loved building things, even built his own home, enjoyed oil painting, and helping anyone who needed help.
Survivors include his companion of 47 years and wife of 17 years Sallie A. (Grimm) Balog and many friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Eckman.
Friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Wednesday December 10, 2025 from 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer.
