Ken was born August 10, 1943 to Walter and Cecilia (Mrozowicz) Jaros and grew up in Aspinwall & O’Hara Township before moving to West Deer where he spent most of his life. Currently he was living with his daughter in Moon Township. He was a graduate of Aspinwall High School from which he has very fond memories, including singing in his acapella group, The Aladdins. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force which he served from 1963 to 1967 as an Airman 1st class. Ken was an avid golfer and loved his weekly tee times with his buddies. He was a member of St. Victor and now Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, West Deer for many years, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and helping run the weekly Bingo as part of the Men’s Club.
