Kevin P. McAtee

Kevin P. McAtee, 61 of Clinton Township, formerly of West Deer, died suddenly as the result of an automobile crash on Tuesday June 6, 2023 in Butler Township. He was born August 12, 1961 in Pittsburgh to the late Regis McAtee and Lillian A. (Whitecomb) McAtee of West Deer. Kevin grew up in West Deer graduating from Deer Lakes High School in 1979. He was a former member and firefighter for West Deer VFC #3, serving as a Lieutenant. Following high school, he attended a trade school in Neville Island for Woodworking. Kevin worked at Milanos Pizza where he worked on an off for many years, worked at Bon Tool, West Deer and most recently worked at O.K. Grocery in the dry goods warehouse as the Product Selector for over 32 years. He had a strong passion for camping, riding his motorcycle, traveling, wood working, yard work/landscaping, and was a dedicated husband, son, father, grandfather and friend, always helping anyone in need.

Survivors include his wife of 3 years Karen (Passarella) Moore McAtee, his mother, Lillian A. (Whitecomb) McAtee of West Deer, his sons Randen (Therese) McAtee of Hampton, Sean (Holli) McAtee, Sr. of West Deer, Daniel (Kaley) McAtee of Fawn, Eric (Heather) McAtee of Richland, Miranda Moore at home and Chad Moore of Summit Township, grandchildren Mercedes, Sean, Jr., Peyten, McKenna, Arya, Eddie, George and Abby and his x-wife Kathy E. Fitton McAtee of West Deer.

Besides his father he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann (Zoeller) McAtee on 1-24-2013, and his brothers Paul J. and Kenneth R. McAtee.

Family invites friends Monday from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township, where a blessing service will be conducted Tuesday 10 am. He will be laid to rest next to his family in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.
