Kimberly Kay Obituary

Kimberly E. Kay, age 61, of Frazer Township, passed away on Saturday February 3, 2024 at her home. She was born October 28, 1962 in Pittsburgh to father Frank and mother Katherine E. (Blummer) Kay. Kim grew up in Pittsburgh graduating from North Catholic High School in 1979. She was a loving and caring person who worked many years as a nursing assistant caring for patients in multiple care facilities as well as in their homes. She also loved to bake anything and everything. It's no surprise that she ended up working as a baker for Giant Eagle at local stores including the New Kensington, Shaler, and Waterworks Stores. She loved to cook, bake, garden, though loved spending time with her family most.

This world has lost a beautiful, caring, loving, wonderful person who will be forever greatly missed. Life will not be the same without her but she is now with loved ones above, while watching loved ones below.

Survivors include her children Randy J. Ward of Russellton, Timothy M. Smolter (Caitlin Patterson) of Shaler Villa, Benjamin A. Smolter (Autumn Slavin) of Shaler Villa and Ashly D. Smolter (William Clawson) of Frazer Township. Grandchildren Talon, Marques, Razel, Cameron, Achilles, Justice and Able.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-8 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township. Her burial will be private. View obituary and leave condolences at
