Linda T. Emerson

Linda T. (Talmage) Emerson, 70 of Indiana Township, died Sunday August 14, 2022 at Family Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Pittsburgh. She was born August 15, 1951 in South Hampton, NY to the late David L. Talmage and Jane P. Talmage of East Hampton, NY. Linda grew up on Long Island graduating from East Hampton High School and then receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Mathematics Education - from SUNY- Oneonta. She was a member of Dorseyville Alliance Church. Linda has lived in Indiana Township for the past 22 years. She enjoyed her family, her Church, and teaching English as a second language to adults.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years S. Thomas Emerson, her sons Griffin T. Emerson of Indiana Township and David N. (Marsha) Emerson of Burke, VA, her mother Jane P. (Peters) Talmage of East Hampton, NY and her brothers Steve (Carol) Talmage, John (Teresa) Talmage and Thomas Talmage all of East Hampton, NY.

She was preceded in death by her father David L. Talmage.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 4 PM until the time of the service at 5 PM in the Dorseyville Alliance Church, 3703 Saxonburg Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15238. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. She will be laid to rest near her father in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, East Hampton, NY.
