Marie (Matus) Pazak, 77 of Blanchard, West Deer Township, died Monday May 19, 2025 at her home. She was born February 26, 1948 in Natrona Heights to the late Joseph J. and Frances M. (Zelko) Matus. Marie grew up in Creighton, graduating from East Deer-Frazer High School in 1966. She moved to West Deer, where she has live the past 54 years. Marie was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, West Deer. She worked for the former Consulate Health Care of Cheswick, Indiana Township, for over 22 years in the housekeeping department. Marie enjoyed crocheting, gardening and going to yard sales.
Survivors include her daughters Lisa R. Pazak of State College and Heather A. Pazak of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, her siblings Connie Matus of Natrona Heights and Ronald (Rita) Matus of Calif.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John R Pazak, Jr. on 3-30-2010 and her brother Raymond Matus in 2002.
Friends received Thursday 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where parting prayers will be conducted Friday 12 Noon, with a funeral mass following in Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, Transfiguration Church, Russellton.
