Mark A. Hannisick

Mark A. Hannisick, 59 of West Deer Township died Wednesday May 19, 2021 at his home. He was born June 15, 1961 in Pittsburgh to Edward J. Hannisick of Blawnox and the late Marcella A. (Bishop) Hannisick. Mark grew up in Blawnox graduating from Fox Chapel High School in 1980. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, Transfiguration Church, Russellton, the Owl’s Club of Russellton and the Operators Union, Pittsburgh. He worked as a tree trimmer for over 40 years, working for both Emery Tree Service and more recently North Suburban Tree Service. He enjoyed caring for his home, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his father and step mother Edward J. and Janet (O’Toole) Hannisick of Blawnox his daughters Nicole M. (John) Henao of Folsom, CA and Chelsey L. Hannisick of West Deer, grandchildren William, Charlotte, Emily and Mary Henao and grandchild Henao who will be born in November, his brothers Eric (Beth) Hannisick of Richland and Edward Hannisick of Verona.

Family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp., funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday 10 am in Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, Transfiguration Church, Russellton, with the Rev. Doug Boyd, officiating. We will be following all CDC guidelines with everyone wearing masks, social distancing and keeping your visit short.
