Mary Jane (Fleck) Boris, 75 of Buffalo Township, formerly of West Deer died Friday July 22, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital, with her family by her side. She was born October 2, 1946 in North Hills to the late Elmer and Margaret (Stritzinger) Fleck. She has lived in Buffalo Township for the past 52 years and in West Deer prior. She was a 1965 graduate of West Deer High School and former member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Victor Church and the Red Hat Society in Sarver. She worked for the Freeport School District as a cafeteria worker for over 10 years and then for O’Berg Industries as a production worker until she retired. She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling, going to their camp, though enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren most of all.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years John A. Boris, Sr., her children John A. (Kimberly) Boris of Annapolis, MD, James A. (Stacie) Boris of Butler and Jerry A. (Crystal) Boris of Renfrew, her grandchildren Jacob, Bobby, Jessica, Alexandra, Skyler, Logan and Ridgely, her siblings Margie Aymar of Driggs, ID, Ruth Fleck of West Deer, Fred (Sandy) Fleck of Lakewood, CO and Jeanne (Kevin) Mahoney of Glenwood, NY.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Edward L. Fleck February 16, 2015.
Family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 pm & Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp., where parting prayers will be Tuesday 9:30 AM with a Catholic Funeral Mass following at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Victor R.C.
