Miriam Mellon Obituary

Miriam A. (Adams) Mellon, 80 of Frazer Township, died Wednesday April 29, 2026 at Allegheny Valley Hospital with her daughter by her side. She was born November 10, 1945 in Biloxi, MS, to the late LeRoy A. and June E. (Miller) Adams. Miriam grew up in Frazer Township, graduating from West Deer High School in 1963. She went on to the Connelly Technical School, Pittsburgh graduating with an associate degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She then went on to work for Oakmont Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Oakmont as well as Georgian Manor, Natrona Heights. She enjoyed doting over her grandchildren, going to thrift stores looking for all the treasures, she was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed being generous to others.

Survivors include her daughters Lynnette R. (Ben) Mozzy-Dye of MO and Jennifer L. Frank of Frazer Township, her grandchildren Kaitlyn A. (Seth) Shots of MO, Sarah J. Frank of Frazer, Nicholas (Eden) Mozzy of Ava, MO and Mary E. Frank of Frazer. Her great-grandchildren Lexi and Rylan Shots, and her siblings, LeRoy A. (Janet) Adams of Forrest, MS, David R.  (Isabell) Adams of Forrest, MS, June E. (Larry) and William P. (Christine) Adams of Biloxi, MS, along with many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Deborah C. Rhodes. and June E. Montgomery.
