Nancy Susan (Semenear) Holfelder

Nancy S. (Semenear) Holfelder, 86 of Frazer Township, formerly of Indiana Township, died Sunday April 19, 2026 at UPMC St. Margaret’s Pittsburgh. She was born January 29, 1940 in Verona to the late John and Rose Semenear. Nancy was a 1958 graduate of Verona High School. She worked as a nursing assistant for over 20 years starting at Mercy Hospital Burn Unit and more recently at Altera Nursing Center, now called Concordia of Fox Chapel. Nancy enjoyed caring for her patients, her family and anyone who needed caring for, as well as gardening, flowers, cooking, canning and being one of the best Mom and Grandma’s you could ask for.

Survivors include her daughter Peggy L. Holfelder and her long-time partner Ken Watychowicz with whom she has been living and her grandson Ryan (Jennifer) Donnick of Butler

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William A. Holfelder and her brother John Semencar.
