Norana Anne (Ailstock) Campana, 73 of Springdale, formerly of Vienna Township, Trumble County, OH, died Monday July 31, 2023 at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born September 29, 1949 in Fort Meade, MD to the late Willie E. and Donis M. (Cutwright) Ailstock. Norana has lived in Springdale the past 7 months with her daughter, following the death of her husband. Norana worked for Packard Electric as a laborer for over 37 years. She was a member of the UAW Local 717, Warren OH, Ohio Stars, American Sewing League, and Quilting Angels. She loved spending time with her family, friends and her quilters.
Norana was an incredible seamstress and quilter, anything that she put her hands to turned into a beautiful masterpiece. She was kind to everyone that she met and the greatest of friend to all. Norana has left a legacy for all who knew her it is now our turn to make sure that her legacy lives on. She taught her family to love the Lord above all else and she led by example. Norana was the prime example of a Proverbs 31 woman. Proverb 31:30 “Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.”
Survivors include her children Daniel J. Campana, Jr., Girard, OH, Cinnamin (Steve) Vroman, Titusville, PA, Walter T. Lamson, II of Oklahoma City, OK and Laura M. (Jason George) Campana, with whom she was living, grandchildren Daniel, Giada, Lucas, Raymond, Anne, Kiersten, Dominic and Josephine, great-grandchildren Gabrielle, Kaela, and Kasen siblings Ralph Ailstock, Willie (Becky) Ailstock, Sherry (Gene) Roles, Merry Ailstock, Marlene “Shaye” Bailey and Dean Ailstock.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Daniel J. Campana, 11-11-2022 and her brother Leslie Cutwright.
At Norana’s request all viewing and services will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer. View obituary online and leave condolences at www.siwicki-yanickofh.com/obituary/Norana-Campana
