Pamela A. Zalus – Palmer, 59 of Curtisville, West Deer Township, died March 4, 2021 at UPMC St. Margaret’s with her family by her side. She was born September 7, 1961 in Willowick, OH to the late Robert J. and Shirley A. (Pekny) Zalus. Shortly after she was born, Pam and her family moved to Curtisville where she has lived all of her life. She was a member of the Deer Lakes Class of 1979 and was of Catholic faith. Pam worked as an employee for multiple fast-food restaurants and also worked at the Tiger Ranch, in Fawn Township caring for the many cats which were housed there. Pam enjoyed watching TV, loved her cats though especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Paisley.
Survivors include her children Andrew “Andy” M. Palmer at home and Elizabeth “Lizzy” R. Zalus of Lower Burrell, her beloved granddaughter Paisley R. Hilliard and her brother Robert J. (Crystal) Zalus of Curtisville.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Andrew and Mary Pekny and her paternal grandparents Joseph and Nellie Zalus.
Following Pam’s wishes all viewing and services were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. She was privately laid to rest in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.
