Raymond E. Paskorz, Sr., 85 of West Deer Township died Monday June 21, 2021 at his home. He was born March 2, 1936 in New Kensington to the late Edward and Tillie (Kujawa) Paskorz. Ray grew up and has lived in West Deer all of his life. He was a 1956 graduate of West Deer High School, where he played all sports including football and baseball. Ray was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, Russellton and the Owl’s Club, Russellton. He served his country in the US Airforce during the Korean War. After he returned from the service he worked as a stone and brick mason, then got a job with Gulf Research in the maintenance department, moving on to become a high-pressure pipe fitter, staying on with UPARC until he retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, spending time with his family and friends and especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons Raymond E. Paskorz, Jr. at Indiana Township and Dennis A. (Jill) Paskorz of Freeport, grandchildren Dennis A. (Katlyn) Paskorz, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Emily (Joseph) Lucchino of Lower Burrell and Jacob Paskorz of Freeport, his great-granddaughters Ava and Stella Lucchino, his brother Ronald (Andrea) Paskorz and his sister Mary Ann Secola both of West Deer.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his Brother Edward Paskorz and his sister Loraine Paskorz.
Following Ray’s wishes all viewing, services and burial were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the Siwicki-Yanicko Funeral Home, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp.
