Rebecca M. “Becky” (Racioppo) Callender-Schrader, 43 of Brackenridge, died Friday June 17, 2022 at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh with her family by her side, as the result of a tragic motorcycle accident on May 21, 2022. Becky was born July 3, 1978 in Pittsburgh to the late Robert M. Racioppo and Darlene M. (Meinert) Racioppo of Brackenridge. Becky grew up and graduated from Fox Chapel High School in 1996. She received her Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from ICM and began her career working as an Occupational Therapist at Consulate Healthcare of Cheswick, Indiana Township where she then became the Activities Director, working there many years. Becky, then went on to work for Northland Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care in North Hills as the Activity Director. She also worked at Oakmont Bakery and several other local bakeries. She loved baking, traveling to the beach, her dog Rocky and Penguin Hockey, though loved her children and family most of all.
She is survived by her daughter Emily Racioppo of Springdale and her son James P. Callender at home, her mother Darlene M. (Meinert) Racioppo of Brackenridge, her brother Paul M. Racioppo of Apollo and nieces and nephews Lauren, Matthew and Giana and step-children Jacob Tyler Schrader, Zachary Taylor Schrader, Dustin Timothy Schrader, Connor David Morabeto, Dakotah James (Oppie)Morabeto.
Friends will be received to celebrate her life on Wednesday from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer where a funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 10 am with the Adam Dickson, officiating. Her burial will be private.
