Regis F. Mravintz, Sr. 84 of West Deer Township, died Sunday October 17, 2021, at the VA Hospital, Aspinwall. He was born January 29, 1937 in Pittsburgh to the late Ralph A. and Leona (Koenig) Mravintz. Regis grew up the Troy Hill section of Pittsburgh, graduating from North Catholic High School in 1955. He served his country in the USMC during the Korean War, then the US Navy. He has lived in West Deer for the past 56 years. Regis worked for K-Mart, Shaler Township for over 28 ½ years as the Receiving Manager. He was a member of the American Legion Headquarters Post, Wormleysburg, PA and Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, West Deer. Regis enjoyed woodworking and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his children Kimberly R. Zezinka of Shaler Township, Yvonne C. (Nick) Yeckel of West Sunbury, Regis F. (Wendy) Mravintz, Jr. of Portersville, Jeffrey A. (Anne Marie) Mravintz of Frazer Township, William R. (Andrea) Mravintz of Fayetteville and Jennifer M. (Gary) Williams of Ft. Collins, CO, grandchildren Amanda (Brian) Mravintz, Noel, Hunter, Austin and Patrick Mravintz, Steven (Candice), Derek (Chelsea), Drew (Erin) and Nikki Yeckel, Ayden Szarejko and Dylan Williams, great-grandchildren Ryder, Mara, Jensen, Kennedy and Liam and his sister Grace (Joseph) Ladisick of Harlinsburg.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Connie (Coyle) Mravintz in 1992 and his siblings Brother Ralph Mravintz, S.M., Raymond Mravintz, Clare Schessler and Rita Weber.
At Regis’s request all viewing, services and burial are private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless Township.
