Richard J. “Rhino” Vance, 49 of Dorseyville, Indiana Township, died suddenly, Wednesday June 22, 2022 at the home of a friend. He was born November 9, 1972 in Pittsburgh to the late Richard E. Vance and Alice J. (Flaherty) Vance of Dorseyville. Rhino grew up in Dorseyville and graduated from Fox Chapel High School in 1990. He worked off and on as an Iron Worker for over 13 years. He recently began working at Gatto’s Harley Davidson Cycle Shop, Tarentum as a service and parts worker. Rich was a long time member of the Owl’s Club, Russellton. His joy was riding his motorcycle.
Survivors include his fiancé Myria D. Lange and his mother Alice J. (Flaherty) Vance with whom they lived, his brother John J. (Katie) Wilson of Indiana Township, his niece Paige Wilson and many cousins, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Richard E. Vance just 2 years ago.
At Rhino’s request all viewing and burial will be private. The public is welcome to a celebration of Rich's life on July 24th at Loughlins Pub on 2237 Saxonburg Boulevard, West Deer Township begining at 4pm. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township.
