Robert E. Kaminsky, 72 of Robinson Township, formerly of Russellton, West Deer Township, died suddenly, Sunday October 24, 2021 at his home. He was born April 23, 1949 in Natrona Heights to the late Edward Kaminsky and Dorothy (Sabolchak) Kaminsky of Russellton. Bob grew up in Russellton graduating from West Deer High School in 1967. He then attended and graduated from Triangle Tech in 1972, studying CAD Design. Bob worked over 40 years at various companies working in auto-cad design beginning his career in Pittsburgh working for US Steel and then Galletta Engineering. Bob moved to Florida working for Southern States Utilities as well as Florida Water, living in Florida for over 25 years. When he retired, he and his wife returned to Pittsburgh living in Robinson Township for the past 10 years. Bob was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, going to the camp in Indiana County and Potter County, though he especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Marlene M. (Knoch) Kaminsky, his children Melissa M. Lambert of Apopka, FL and Mark E. (Mary Ann) Kaminsky of Mars, grandchildren Lauren, Samuel, Jessica and Ciera, his Mother Dorothy (Sabolchak) Kaminsky of Russellton, his sister Marlene Hohman of Culmerville, his sister-in-law Marlinda (Knoch) Remo of Russellton and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp., where a funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 10 am with the Rev. Robert Henry, officiating. He will be laid to rest near his father in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township.
