Russell C. Craft, 60 of West Deer Township died Thursday February 4, 2021 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh with his family by his side. He was born January 29, 1961 in Natrona Heights to the late Clarence E. and Agnes (Alexeychik) Craft. Russ grew up and has lived in West Deer his entire life. He was a 1979 graduate of Deer Lakes High School. Russ was an owner/operator of Pittsburgh Tree Service for over 25 years and recently worked as a mechanic for Pine Richland Autoworkers. He was a lifetime member of the Bairdford United Methodist Church, and a member of the Heath Township Sportsman’s Club, Jefferson County. Russ enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially spending time at his camp with family & friends.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years Sharon L. (Antkowiak) Craft, his son Adam J. (Jessica) Craft of Oklahoma City, OK, his granddaughter Kaylin Mae Craft (whom he adored), and his siblings Timothy W. (Rosemary) Craft of Richland, Rick A. (Dawn) Craft of Fawn, Clarise E. (Scott) Smialek and Brian S. Craft both of Middlesex Township, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Benjamin P. Craft, Sept. 29, 2018.
The family invites ALL to a Celebration of Russell's Life on Sunday July 25, 2021, due to the chance of rain it has been moved to EAST UNION PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH COMMUNITY CENTER, 292 Ease Union Road, Cheswick, PA 15024 at 1PM not at Deer Lakes Park.
