Sarah V. Bossart

Sarah V. (Ohler) Gmuer Bossart, 67 of West Deer Township, died suddenly on Friday May 26, 2023 at AHN-Wexford. She was born June 11, 1955 in Bellevue Hospital to the late Stanton E. and Viola E. (Shoup) Ohler. Sarah grew up in Bellevue. She worked in the restaurant industry for over 24 years as wait staff, bartender and hostess. Sarah has lived in West Deer for the past 27 years. She was very active in the West Deer Republican Committee serving as secretary. Sarah enjoyed planning events, crafts, flowers, gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years Richard W. “Pudge” Bossart, Jr. her daughter Brandy L. (Brian) Ice of Myrtle Beach, SC, step-children Shellie (Rich) Le of Berwer, ME and Richard W. (Belinda) Bossart, III of Chicora and her grandchildren Dawson J. Ice and Lyla P. Ice.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Regis L. Gmuer who passed 3-17-1996.
