Obituary

Shirley A. (Yakimczyk) Beichler, 84, of Rural Ridge, Indiana Township, died Tuesday January 24, 2023 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born November 7, 1938 in Natrona Heights to the late Mike and Julia M. (Dlubak) Yakimczyk. Shirley was a 1955 graduate of West Deer High School. She worked Freeman Lumber, Russellton for over 10 years as a secretary and at Thrift Drug, RIDC Park for several years. She loved to cook as was know as the pierogi master.

Survivors include daughter Lisa (William) McCoy of HI, her grandchildren Robert (Nicole) Black of Smithton and Patricia Black of Charleston, SC and her sister Patricia M. (Dan) D’Angelo of Allegheny Township.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald A. Beichler, her daughter Christine Black, her brother John Yakimczyk just a few days prior to her death and her sister Michaelene Yakimczyk, who died just 20 days prior to her death.
