Stephen Edward Bohatch, Jr

Stephen E. Bohatch, Jr. 76 of Bairdford, West Deer Township, died Wednesday June 11, 2025 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born March 25, 1949 in New Kensington to the late Stephen E. and Laverne (Silcox) Bohatch, Sr. Stephen grew up in West Deer graduating from West Deer High School in 1967. He has lived in West Deer all of his life. Stephen worked for over 34 years at Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Brackenridge as well as owned and operated Bohatch Asphalt Sealing. In his free time, you could see him traveling with his wife all over the country to drag races, driving and winning in the diesel truck division. He also enjoyed going to the casino, caring for his home and his best friend and wife of 53 years Cathy.

Survivors include the love of his life Cathy B. (Ayers) Bohatch his son Gary P. Bohatch of Leechburg and his brother Kerry C. (Billie Jean) Bohatch of Bairdford.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Dennis M. Bohatch.

At Steve’s request all viewing, services and burial will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer.
