Suzanne M. (Sallows) Stevens

Suzanne M. (Sallows) Stevens, 74 of West Deer Township, passed away, Wednesday May 20, 2026 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh with her family by her side. She was born February 2, 1952 in Pittsburgh to the late James M. and Glorus J. (Wood) Sallows. Suzanne grew up and lived in Penn Hills graduating from Penn Hills High School in 1970. Following high school, she went to St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing obtaining her associate degree in 1972 and her Registered Nursing License. She worked for St. Francis Hospital Pittsburgh for over 15 years and after its closing, worked at several other Pittsburgh hospitals. She has lived in West Deer for the past 55 years. Suzanne was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, attending Transfiguration Church, Russellton. She enjoyed being a horse trainer and making jewelry.

Survivors include her son Gabriel M. (Michelle) Zannetti of Lancaster, OH, her grandchildren Riley, Dominic, Grace and Klayton, great-grandsons Waylon and Weston and her siblings Dianne Sallows of Turtle Creek, James M. Sallows, Jr. of Huntingdon and Kimberly A. Sallows of Penn Hills and several nieces and nephews.

At Suzanne’s request a private family service was held at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
