Timothy R. Dawson

Timothy R. Dawson, 66 of Russellton, West Deer Township, died Wednesday November 2, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Tim was born August 20, 1956 in New Kensington to the late Frank S. and Dorothy D. (Kellaway) Dawson. Tim grew up graduating from Deer Lakes High School in 1974. He has lived in the West Deer Township most of his life. Tim worked for a window and door company installing them for many years. He enjoyed fixing most anything and teaching his step-grandson how as well. Mostly he has enjoyed his family and friends.

Survivors include his fiancé of over 20 years Patricia (Altenbaugh) Szoss, his daughter Wendi (Cody) Johns of Irwin and his son Brandon Dawson of Brackenridge, grandchildren Sutton, Elliot, Ike, Cyrus and a new grandson due any day. Siblings Vivian Leight of Russellton, Frank D. Dawson of Irwin and Joyce (John) Guras of Erie, step-children Amanda Szoss of Russellton and Jason Davidson of Curtisville, step-grandchildren Mason, Austin, Blake and Scott.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his twin sister Terry R. Moore.

The family invites friends to a celebration of Tim’s life Sunday December 4, 2022 from 4-6 PM at the Owl’s Club, Russellton, West Deer Township.
