Timothy Douglas Phelps, 60 of Curtisville, West Deer Township, passed peacefully in his sleep on Friday March 6, 2026 at his home. Tim was born August 20, 1965 in Columbus, OH to the late Charles Douglas and Betty Jo (Conley) Phelps. He grew up in the Columbus area graduating from Grandview High School in 1983. Following high school, Tim attended The Ohio State University. After moving to West Deer, Tim went to work for Comp-USA, Monroeville, as the store manager working for them for over 10 years. He then went to work for his father-in-law as the Property Manager with Northern Allegheny Stone, working for them for over 15 years. More recently he worked for Giant Eagle, Richland as the produce manager for the past 5 years. Tim loved OSU Football, all kinds of fishing, all types of cooking, including grilling, smoking and exploring his culinary aspirations. He also enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, landscaping, golf and loved all types of animals, especially Axel, though he especially loved his family most of all.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years Tammy S. (Gizienski) Phelps, his children Taylor N. Phelps and her fiancé Jake Noschese and Joseph D. Phelps and his fiancé Cassidy Kudlach, both of West Deer, his in-laws, Joseph and Donna (Malecki) Gizienski of West Deer and his sister-in-laws Tracy L. (Steve) Mullins of FL, Terri-Ann Gizienski and her husband Thomas Ulewicz, Jr of Saxonburg, Tricia L. Gizienski and her husband Philip Iozzi of Cranberry and Tina M. Gizienski of West Deer.
At Tim’s request all viewing, services and burial were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer.
