Tom Thomas

David “Tom” Thomas, 83, of Curtisville, West Deer Twp. passed away peacefully at AHN Wexford Hospital with family by his side. He was born December 16, 1940 to the late David Spencer and Della Blanche (Waterson) Thomas. Married to the love of his life Shirley Jane for 63 years. Tom was an independent truck driver and then worked for Thrift Drug Company. He loved his camp, hunting and working in his garage, most of all spending time with family and family dogs Bailey, Baloo, Sasha and Pete.

Tom is survived by his wife Shirley Jane (Gutherie) Thomas his two sons, Tommy (Tammy) Thomas of Curtisville and Scott (Tracey) Thomas of Sarver, his two granddaughters Tiffany Thomas and Brittany (Phil) Schneider, his two great-granddaughters, Lakelyn and Melina Schneider, sister Della Cyphert of Curtisville, also sisters-in-laws, Mary Louise Craft, Gracie Apicella, Barb Burton, Vernie Gutherie, Teresa Perry, brother-in laws, Patrick (Robin) Gutherie and John (Brenda) Gutherie, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, his sister and brother-in-law Sue and Joseph “Scott“ Lardin and brother Dale Thomas, father-in-law and mother in-law, Marlin and Betty Gutherie, brother-in-laws James Cyphert, Marlin Gutherie, Kenny Craft and Joe Perry, also three nephews David Lardin, Rick Craft and Ronnie Crowley.

Family and friends will be received Monday July 15 from 4-8 pm at the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp., where services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 am.
