Troy Allen Cyphert, Sr.

Troy Allen Cyphert, Sr., 60 of Bairdford, West Deer Township, died Friday February 27, 2026 at his home. He was born July 5, 1965 in Pittsburgh to the late James Albert and Della Blanch (Thomas) Cyphert of Fawn Township. Troy grew up in Curtisville West Deer and has lived in West Deer most of his life. He was a member of the Deer Lakes Class of 1983. Troy attended Thiel College for 2 years studying environmental science.  Out of high school, Troy, went to work at ASCON in Blawnox as a crane operator, where he worked for over 10 years. Following his father’s passing he continued to run his father’s business for several years, and later started his own business, Greenville Auto, Greenville, PA. Troy enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles, doing small engine repair, hunting though loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years Terry L. (Leight) Cyphert, his mother Della B. (Thomas) Cyphert of Fawn Township, his children Amber L. Cyphert of Curtisville, Troy A. (Leia) Cyphert, Jr. of Fawn Township and Aaron J. Cyphert of West Deer, his grandchildren Kayn, Jax, Ciara, Damian, Lucien and Serana and his siblings Reva Aber of Fawn Township, Dale (Pearl) Aber of West Deer, Robert (Patty) Aber of West Deer and James (Sally) Cyphert of Jamestown, PA.

Family invites all to attend a Celebration of Troy’s life on Saturday from 2-5 pm at Laughlin’s Pub, 2373 Saxonburg Boulevard, Cheswick, PA 15024 – West Deer Township. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer.
