Valentino Francioni, Sr.

Valentino Francioni Sr. 85, of Indiana Twp. died Sunday January 21, 2024 in St. Margaret’s Hospital, Aspinwall. He was born April 21, 1938 in Pittsburgh to the late Giuseppe and Emma Lombardi Francioni. He lived in Indiana Township for 80 years and was a laborer most of his life working in Construction. A member of Our Lady of Perpetual Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Glenshaw. Valentino enjoyed playing the lottery and cooking for his family.  

Survivors include his six children, Cheryl (Michael) Fine of Lake Worth Fl., Brenda (Anthony) Acri of Etna, Tina (Joseph) Vita of West Deer, Valentino Francioni Jr. of Sharpsburg, Douglas (Patricia) Francioni of West Deer, and Andrea (Todd) Francioni Rooney of Shaler Twp., Sister –in-law Josie Miller of Shaler Twp. Eighteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Norma Jean Francioni, parents and five brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends Wednesday January 24, from 4-8 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday January 25 at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Church Glenshaw with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery of St. Mary Indiana Twp.
