Violet Mary (Buccigrossi) Fullerton, 100 formerly of Stanton Heights, died February 3, 2023, just 2 weeks short of her 101st birthday. She was born February 18, 1922 in Pittsburgh to the late Jactano and Angela (Fagnillo) Buccigrossi. She lived in Stanton Heights for over 97 years. Vi was a Chef for the former Holmes House in Lawrenceville working there for over 20 years until it closed. She was a former member of St. Raphael RC Church – St. Jude Parish, Morningside, belonging to several church groups and volunteered at the local food bank. She loved to cook, bake and loved her family.
Survivors include her daughter Anita Videtich of Mercer County, daughter-in-law Joanne (Klysz) Fullerton of Hampton Township, grandchildren Melanie (Kevin) Wisneski of Clinton Township, Tina (Paul) Fritch of Frazer Township, Rocky & Roy Sulka of California and Christine A. Rauch of Mercer County; great-grandchildren Corey and Dylan Chelko and Anna, Debbie and Emma Fritch, she also has other great-grandchildren, her sister Mary Leffler of Pittsburgh and her brother Emerick Buccigrossi of Pittsburgh
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Fullerton, daughter Jean Kelly Dubuc, her son Russell Fullerton and her brothers Paul, Pete, Nick and Sonny Buccigrossi.
Following Vi’s wishes a private catholic graveside service was held in Allegheny Cemetery, Lawrenceville, where she was buried next to her husband.
