William Grottenthaler, 87 of Kittanning, formerly of Russellton, West Deer Township died Sunday December 1, 2024. He was born January 22, 1937 in Russellton to the late John N. and Anna (Boris) Grottenthaler. Bill lived in Russellton West Deer most of his life. He worked at Deer Lakes Park for Allegheny County Parks service as a maintenance worker for over 20 years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, West Deer and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 5501. Bill enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include his brothers Charles (Doris) Grottenthaler of Fayetteville and John Grottenthaler of Brookville. Bill had seven nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother James Grottenthaler.
At Bill’s request all viewing, services, and burial were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp.
