William Edward Miller, Jr.

William “Bill” Edward Miller, Jr., 85, formerly of West Deer Twp. passed away on Monday April 25, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospice Cabot. He was born in Curtisville, on August 18, 1936 to the late William Edward and Ella Mae (Eversole) Miller Sr. He was a prior resident of Colorado, Ohio, and North Carolina before coming back to Natrona Heights. He was a retired Union Plumber for 55 years with Local 58 of Colorado Springs and Local 27 of Pittsburgh. A 1954 graduate of West Deer High School, he was in the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Discharged in 1960 as Airman 1st class. He was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church Hendersonville, North Carolina. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball, bowling, golf, and spending time with family and friends.   

He is survived by two sons, William E. Miller III of Delmont, Raymond M. (Jan) Miller of Blanchard, two daughters, Cheryl A. Miller of Natrona Heights with whom he lived and Susan Rae (William) Sutara of New York, his four grandchildren Jay (Liana) Miller of West Deer, Ella (Stephen) Kisiel of Natrona Heights, Noah Miller of Blanchard and Makayla Miller of Plum, one brother Ronald A. (C. Joann) Miller of Cleveland Ohio, his “Southern Gal” Joyce Jolly of North Carolina, and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.  Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his two sisters Jean Roberts and Betty Rankin and one brother David Miller.    

At Bill’s request all services will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township.
