Charles A. Zeh, 68 of West Deer Township, died September 28, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. Chuck has lived in West Deer for the past 31 years. He was born July 31, 1948 in Pittsburgh to the late Ernst and June (McCue) Zeh. He was a 1966 graduate of Etna High School. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Army as a Sargent in the US Army Pacific Command. A member of St. Victor R.C. Church, Bairdford and the Local 66 Operators Union, Pittsburgh. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children Leigh (Guy) Gornick of Russellton, Sarah (Frank) Cieslak of Russellton, Jennifer (Todd) McCurdy of West Deer, Ernst Zeh of Mount Washington and Matthew Zeh of Richland, seven grand-children; Carly and Blake Gornick, Anna and Anthony Cieslak and Brad, Ella and Lilly McCurdy, his siblings Patricia (Charles) Shuker of Shaler, Ernst (Kate) Zeh of West Deer, June (Paul) Slagel of Hampton and Martin (Darlene) Zeh of Jefferson Hills.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Ann (Bobash) Zeh June 24, 2016.
Family invites family and friends to visitation on Sunday October 2, 2016 from 2 pm to 6 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where services will be conducted at 6 pm with the Rev.
