Marcia (Clover) Peterman

Marcia Clover Peterman, 71 of Fawn Township, passed peacefully Thursday February 15, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born May 26, 1952 in Natrona Heights to the late Bernard "Ben" and Sally (Flick) Clover. Marcia grew up in Fawn, where she has lived all of her life. She was a 1970 graduate of Highlands High School. Marcia was a homemaker. She married her childhood sweetheart who lived a few doors down and never moved away. Marcia loved the sunshine, summertime, and the ocean. She was always her happiest self with her toes in the sand sitting beside her husband and watching her children play in the waves. She lived to spoil her grandchildren. She loved to read and decorate. She was so talented and her ability to sew was unmatched, she made her grandkids the most beautiful crocheted blankets. She loved having a house full of the laughter of family and friends. Jim adored her and they had a perfect marriage that all are envious of, that kind of love transcends space and time. The only argument they ever had was whether or not the Christmas tree was straight. She loved sitting on the porch with her husband listening to music and drinking a cold beer. She will be remembered, missed, and loved by all that knew her.

Survivors include her loving husband James A. Peterman, her children Sara J. (Sean) Jones of Buffalo Township and James “Jimmy” (Sara Tibi) Peterman of Penn Hills, her adorning grandchildren JJ Nicolls, Seth Nicolls and Lelu Jones.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Kathleen Clover Yarbough and Phyllis Clover Wright.
