The brief time I spent with him during little league and stories I heard from Roger leaves me with no doubt he was a loving caring person that anyone who ever knew him was made a better person for it. Sam, Doug and the entire Wood family. I'm very saddened to hear of Mr. Wood's passing. He was a real gentleman and an extraordinary role model for all us kids who knew him while we were growing up. You have been truly blessed to have him his as a guide, mentor, and friend all these years. He imparted a piece of kindness, wisdom, and integrity into everyone he met. May your sadness be softened by knowing his influence and care will be with you forever.
