Stephen J. Brooks, Jr

Stephen J. Brooks, Jr., 80 of Rural Ridge, died November 22, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born May 29, 1936 in New Kensington to the late Stephen J. and Mary (Paulovich) Brooks, Sr. Steve grew up in the Cheswick area graduating from Springdale High School in 1954. He was a peacetime Army Veteran. A member of the West Deer American Legion, Life member of the Eagles and Moose both in New Kensington, a Life Member of the Owl's Club in Russellton and a life member of the Krivan Club in springdale. Steve enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years Terry R. (Zaborowski) Brooks, sons Thomas and Victor Brooks both of TX and William Brooks of VA, grandchildren Jordan, Madison, Hannah and Bailey, his brother James (Dolly) Brooks of Apollo and his sister Judy (Harry) Makinak of Springdale.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughters Susan Brooks and Toni Bodick.

Friends will be received Saturday from 12:30 to 3:30 in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where a funeral service will be conducted Saturday 3:30 pm.
