William R. Nieser, Sr., 86 of West Deer Township, died Friday March 22, 2024 at Family Hospice, Lawrenceville He was born February 3, 1938 in Pittsburgh to the late Harry and Leona (Ross) Nieser. Bill grew up in Pittsburgh attending Westinghouse High School. Following high school, Bill went to work for Schorin Company in the Strip District of Pittsburgh working as the store manager for over 56 years. Bill enjoyed working outside, building anything, camping, though loved his family, especially his grand-children and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Kay M. (Nesbitt) Nieser, his children Rebecca (James) Chirdon, Jr. of West Deer, Kimberly (Michael) Gratteri of Ford City, Joseph Nieser of Cranberry Township and Elizabeth (Leonard) Lavrich of Russellton, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, his brother Kerry (Patricia) Nieser of Pittsburgh and his sister Jeannie Bogovich of NJ.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son William R. Nieser, Jr. January 24, 2022 and his siblings Harry Nieser, Leo Nieser, Robert Nieser and Marion Ondrizek.
