Ann M. Ross

Ann Marie (Held) Ross, 71 of Indianola, Indiana Township, died Thursday August 24, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. She was born February 20, 1946 in Pittsburgh and grew up in West Deer Township, graduating from West Deer High School in 1965. She worked as a concessions manager at Three Rivers Stadium for over 35 years. A member of St. Victor R.C. Parish, Bairdford. She also belonged to the Indianola Fire Department, where she served as Fire Police Captain and St. Timothy’s Ladies Guild. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of forty-eight years Robert T. Ross, her children Sandra Koski and her partner T.R. Hays and Tom (Jamie) Ross both of West Deer, grandchildren Sara, Noah and Tyler.

Preceded in death by her parents Leo and Jean Held and her sister Patricia Held.

Family invites friends to a celebration of Ann’s life on Tuesday August 29th from 6-7:30 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where a blessing service will be conducted at 7:30 pm by the Rev. Charles Sepicher. In lieu of flowers contributions should be sent to the West Deer Dog Shelter, 109 East Union Rd, Cheswick, PA 15024.
